Some people confuse how to use dynamite, here’s one of the case :
I bought dynamite to blow up rocks instead of using energy.
You can’t use it from the backpack, there’s only a sell button, and you can’t use it on map screen, it only lets you dig, forcing you to use your energy.
How to use treasure isle dynamite for rocks ?
Here’s how dynamite works on treasure isle :
- You use the dynamite at the Level 30 island.
- You can use the dynamite your bought to blow up special types of rocks. I believe these types of rocks are called ‘Brown Rocks’ and they’re really tall. They’re only one a few islands, not all.
- You can use treasure isle dynamite for Protected Cove Island, destroy Brown Boulder using dynamite
- You can only use dynamite on huge tall ‘Brown Rocks‘. You usually see them when you get to the 3rd map.
- You can’t use dynamite on normal rocks, like magma rocks, or ‘Multidig’ rocks. Those rocks you have to either spend 10 energy to destroy, or spend 30 energy to destroy (only for Multidig rocks).
- You also need to buy a pickaxe in the store before destroying rocks
- You can’t replace using energy on normal rocks, with dynamite.
- When you put your mouse over an rock / plant it shows you the tool that is needed to work on it. If it doesn’t show dynamite, then you haven’t found a rock that requires it’s use yet. The first one is on the 3rd set of maps.
Using Dynamite Crashes Game – out of sync ?
My issue is that everytime I tried to use the dynamite it would crash the game (out of sync error). It looks like the game will prompt you to buy dynamite and try to use it on the large rocks you can go to on map 3, even if you are not level 6 yet (the required level to own dynamite). This is probably an issue with all other advanced tools as well.
