FrontierVille Quest Missions Goal List ! Clicking on a quest icon, located on the left hand side of your game screen, will display details about your current quest.
To complete a quest simply follow the instructions to meet the requirements. You will earn rewards when you meet that quests requirements! Questing is the only way to gain things such as a family.
for some mission you will find hint that will help you clear the goal
and when you completed your quest you will get the reward, also you can share experience for your friends on your wall

I am trying to complete the “Get Ready For Baby” goal and it says I need to visit 25 neighbors. I have more than 25 neighbors and I have been visiting them and it’s not counting my visits. How do I email support to report this, or is there anything else I need to do? I tried clicking on support at the bottom of the screen and it only lets me search topics, but I can’t seem to find a place to report the issue I’m having. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

you can get the flowers bucket from completing wildflower collection, try to clear wildflower and you can collect and complete it, then trade for bucket

A bear showed up while I was chopping down wood and Ive tried scaring it like 10 times and now its just stuck in a corner and when I try scaring it away the whole game freezes completely. Ive tried restarting the game and scaring the bear off of 3 different computers and the same problem happens . The bear doesnt go away and the game freezes! what is going on? Also , I have like30 neighbors and only 5 show up on the bottom list. Zynga fix these problems or soon no one will be playing.

My quest for “Do Family Chores” says to have spouse chop down 5 trees, have spouse feed 20 chickens and have spouse harvest 50 wheat. Looks like FrontierVille is uping the ante.

@Mariah: the quest costs 5,000 to complete. So upon buying the cow the 5,000 coin was taken as well.

I believe that they count the visits when you do work for your neighbors and it doesn’t have to be 25 different neighbors I have maybe 14 and I have visited 21 times. It only counts when you do work for them.

@Alexys: I have the same two problems! My next mission is to scare 6 bears, but no more will show up while that one is stuck in the corner and there’s nothing I can do to get rid of him. Also, I can scroll left and see some of my other neighbors but there are random blank spots between them where some are just not showing up. ZYNGA – FIX THESE PLEASE!!!

ok now, i have a problem with ”A thorny problem” said ”thorns can be found in the deep woods, and both thorns and cacti can regrow over time” i’vebenn waiting for the thorn to grow almost 3 weeks!! This game is really all the parts of FarmVille that I like and all the parts I don’t are taken out. After playing a few minutes, I have almost no desire to play FarmVille,,, because this is so much better!
The game even has all the animations missing in FarmVille, like when a farmer feeds an animal he actually throws feed on the ground before it and actually digs up crops while harvesting them. LOVE IT.

The numbers might not change instantly when you visit the neighbors, but try going back in a few minutes and your visits will be counted.

@Faith – I, too, visited 25 neighbors and it wouldn’t log all 25. I closed the browser and restarted Frontierville and then it showed all 25; there just seems to be a lag. Be patient – they should show up soon

@Kitty…My brother has had the same problem forever and can’t seem to get any to grow. After hitting level 19 he was tired of seeing that goal and “purchased” the thorns with his lucky horse shoes. They are in the market under special, but cost 8 horseshoes a piece. That is the only way I know of that will work.
@ those of you with the bear problem: I was helping teach someone how to play and the same thing happened to her and she keeps “loosing connection” to the game when she would try to scare it again. I told her to leave him alone and do work on other things in hopes it would catch up and get rid of him. After a few days she tried again and it disappeared. Hopefully the same will happen for you guys!

just keep at the quests you have up on the screen, level doesnt rearly matter too much. Just plod through the quests.
I’m level 20, and i have “Pig Farming” and “Fill The Pockets” also one to greet the school teacher. after each quest, you think you have done it, and it springs up another quest to do with the previous, for instance the mariage one.

For those of you with the problem of a freezing bear; I had the same problem, and after emailing Zynga support, I haven’t had a problem since. This was 2 weeks ago. Tech support said they have been looking into complaints of this issue, but it couldn’t hurt to sent them a friendly reminder that you are still having problems. Zynga doesn’t read these posts, so no point in complaining here. One thing to remember is that unless you are a paying player you have very little right for complaints.

Thorn problem…I too cleared all of the obvious ones, then I noticed that when my farm was loading, you could see thorns, grass, wildflowers BEFORE the trees loaded…then I just chopped down those trees and let my kid go clear the thorms. Hope that helps.

to answer some questions
animal boost – any animals not ready for harvest will be made ready instantly. There is a crop boost for this and unwither boost as well.
For the neighbors (25) close your browswer and come back. It might not credit right away. Keep in mind you have to do SOMETHING on each farm for it to count.
Flowers and plants not available yet soon.
If a task says it takes 500 food and 5000 coins its going to take the 5000 coins you have built up and the 500 food to complete the quest. They obviously go to feed someone just not you.
No you dont need 25 different neighbors but you have to do something on each farm for it to count and then you have to wait like 12 hrs to revisit those neighbors. For them to count again
If you are looking for thorns they tend to grow behind trees. So if you have alot of trees try chopping some down and you will find the thorns behind them
You cant stop grass. cactus flowers etc from growing uless u put something there like a crop or a building or an animal

You can avoid the growing of grass by having goats somewhere on your homestead. The more goats you have the less grass will grow.

I have solved the problem of totals not being added. Well, I had the problem in Farmville of cash not going up no matter what I did. I realised it was because I had changed the privacy settings for cookies on my Internet Explorer. When I reset the privacy settings to default the cash started up again. Wood and horseshoes in Frontierville is basically the same as cash in Farmville.

Daisy, if you want to find your child, just open your family album, and change something of that child (outfit etc), then it will switch the focus to the child and you can find her.

Samanta, the thorn grew back slowly, it is best to always leave some so that more can grow. I don’t know about cactus though, I had to buy one from the market.

If u lose your character they’re usually behind a tree. Open ur photo album and change something on the missing one,click on some chore & they’ll reappear. Stuck critters on borders can be removed by planting a border (clover) all around them but do not touching them, then clicking on them.

Are there any more tips on getting more thorns to grow? Does it help to clear some grass away from the trees to give the thorns room to grow? Are there more popular places for them to grow, like in the top corner or bottom corner? If there are more trees gathered together is that better than having single trees scattered around?

Several of us (my neighbors) are all on the 5 apple pie quest. We are frustrated that in 3 days of trying to get the pies, only 1 of us (over 20 people at this level) received ONE PIE. We are not complaining about the amount of pies needed, just the lack of the ability of getting pies.
I have over 60 neighbors, and we have decided to stop trying to get the powder horn for the 4th quest. We have decided that it is a glitch that it is not being awarded.
I understand that in Beta there will be glitches and changes, but it gets frustrated when so many of us are hitting the same wall over several days/weeks.

The thorns only grow back underneath adult trees and it used to be only under adult oak trees. So let an oak tree grow to 12 chops with cleared area around it and you should have thorns. I refused to pay 8 horseshoes for a stupid thorn bush haha.

I had a “baby” a month ago and have not had one thorn grow since that time. Last Friday, I purchased a thorn with 8 horseshoes thinking this may help stimulate the thorns to grow, however it did not! Does anyone have any suggestions?

for all of u that are having the finish cabin problem it is cause u finished the cabin b4 u were told. You were supposed to make the framework which was the 4 whacks then wait to finish. The only way to solve ur problem is to get a new cabin an start all over. Hope this helps

Also, for the welcome mat. You have to collect bonus in the cabin and it takes forever. I think it took me 12 days to get the mat.

i’m also stuck on the welcome mat and the apple pies.. to try and resolve this i bought 26 apple trees and am currently harvesting them every day, as well as all my friends apple trees.. still doesn’t work. i also keep buying (but not completing) cabins to get the items.. i have bought over 600 cabins on FOUR profiles, and yet still cannot find one welcome mat. Got 50 odd each of every other item in the collection though

for the thorn re-grow problem – i, too, had cleared them all out. you have to move everything away from the edges, especially the top right edge near the middle – thorns WILL regrow there if you move whatever you have that is blocking them. i did this and within 2 days i had 4 thorns regrow.

WELCOME MATS seem to be the hardest to come by. Once you are able consider building 2 or 3 cabins to increase your chances. I have 4 cabins and 3 mats. My friends has 8 cabins and no mats. It’s random I guess.

What the heck! I had previously unlocked (with horseshoes)chicken coop, ox, apricot tree, and sunflowers weeks ago. All of a sudden in game play they became locked AGAIN! Has this happened to anybody else? Shame on me for putting money into this!

I’m on the stage where you have to prepare to build a crib, but I’ve already built the crib. Since I built it, all my sullies are used up and I can’t complete the quest and move on! What do I do? Do I need to gather the tools, ribbons, and planks all over again?

In my fenced patch where I usually grow crops, I find that when I don’t have anything growing, trees, thorns, skulls and weeds tend to grow instead. (Haven’t had much luck in ‘naturally’ growing cacti!) You’ll need these for these missions:
A Thorny Problem
Mission: have your child clear 5 thorns and 1 cactus
Reward: 25 XP and 1000 gold
Posting reward: 75 XP for 5 people
Unlocks: Stumped
Teach Hunting (note snakes and bears)
Mission: have your spouse or child clobber 4 snakes, scare 7 bears, and clobber 21 groundhogs
Reward: 125 XP
Posting reward: 35 food for 5 people
Unlocks: Nothing
Punish Misbehavior in Class
Mission: use your child to clear 4 skulls, collect 2 barn daily bonuses, and feed 40 pigs
Reward: 125 XP
Posting reward: 1 spitball for 5 people
Unlocks: Nothing
Hint: Start making sure all your neighbors know to leave your skulls alone as they start spawning slowly when this mission goes active.
To stop the weeds and trees filling up your cleared space, place animals or decorations around the area.

So I noticed in the “Keep It Clean” quest, you have to clear grass and buy a goat…
Afterwards, I was curious about the goat’s purpose and bought several. Days later, I noticed that there were no grasses, flowers, etc. growing in the immediate area of the goats. Just how immediate, though? Do the goats keep away the grasses in the square next to them, or do they have a more specific region to keep clean? (I.E., a 9×9 square) After a certain distance, grass will grow again. Does anyone know the specifics on goats and keeping away grass? I have multiple goats scattered about, and I’d like to know what the pattern is so I’m not buying more goats than I have to. I’d like to spend my money on the minimum number of goats…My frontier just looks like a goat-infested mess right now.

Hi, I need to make a bouquet to get a spouse. I’ve found every flower there is to find but no bouquet. My friend said that you need to open the family album but when I click on the my stuff, where family album is under, nothing happens. I refreshed my page many times (since when this happens with the market it seems to open after refreshing). But, with the my stuff refreshing does not help. What should I do to get this bouquet so I can get my spouse?!

alright ms windy. you have to feed the chickens or whatever animal and then feed it again. that will count as one animal. there will be a blue hue to it. try it on one of your neighbors and then go back and check on your home page to see if it works. The thorns do grow back. you have to have a lot of trees growing together. if you have some trees in your inventory, plant them in a circle, and thorns will grow in a few days after the trees have grown. patience guys and have fun!!! and if you lose people, buy the dinner triangle. it’s only coins to buy and you ring it and everybody comes, including your neighbors hiding in the trees.

Windy, click on baby chicks that do not have the arrow above them. Instead of a feed bag, you will have a brush. Those are unready chickens.

to windy……go to neighbors farms and if their chickens are hungry do this…..click one once and it will not be hungry any longer then click it again and you will be tending an unready chicken….do that 5 times on ea neighbor till you reach the goal

To prepare unready chickens, you have to go to a neighbor that you can work at and click on a chicken that does NOT have a yellow arrow above it’s head. If you can’t find any, you can feed the chicken and then click on it again to prepare it.

If you are having trouble finding thorns to clear, try clicking on trees like you’re going to chop them down. they go see-through so you can see if there are thorns behind them and cancel the action before you chop it down if there aren’t any.

When doing the mission that requires you to visit 25 neigbors, or any mission for that matter, sometimes it doesn’t count them right away. Try refreshing your browser or just waiting a little bit and usually it fixes itself.
If your child or spouse are missing buy a dinner bell/triangle and ring it and anyone who happens to be there, including the 3 of you will walk to the bell. They might be stuck in the trees or something.
When you run out of thorns, cacti, skulls, etc…leave a big open space on your homestead and don’t play for a few hours. Stuff will grow, or you can buy them in the market for horse shoes.
The only way to level up faster is to keep playing. Visit all of your neighbors once a day, plant lots of crops, have lots of animals, etc etc.
You get tools from neighbors visiting your farm and posting on your facebook wall that they’ve left you some tools. Click “get tools” and voila.
I HIGHLY recommend NOT building ANYTHING. NOTHING AT ALL until you get the quest for them. It will not count if you’ve already built a schoolhouse, or Inn, or coop, etc. Just wait!
I do recommend building multiple chicken coops. You need a dozen eggs and it’s going to take a long time to get them. Hope I helped!

@Brianne: You have to go to Collections, not Family Album. Click MY STUFF and choose Collections.
There, it should show the Wildflower Collection, and should say complete.
Click Trade In, and you’ll get your bouquet.

I have found the best way to collect large amounts of coin is to trade in the apricot collection. Keep more apricot trees than others, these can be free gifted to you also ask others for items in that collection.
The groundhog tasks are annoying what I have found for this, bears and snakes is work on that all at once. Plant cheap crops clover about 20 to 30 at once then tend until you get one kill it then tend again kill that one usually you will get three if you do it this way and you are not spending to much $$$$ and the clover grows quick. It says potatoes work best but when I planted 30 i did not get 1 groundhog. Bears and snakes are the same large trees for the bears and skulls for the snakes. Hope that helps.

frontierville is starting to annoy me. i need a welcome mat! i’m fed up of making new cabins and getting nothing! also, i’ve noticed they’ve changed how you can help your neighbours. originally, you could click on an unripe crop or animal, and then re-click it, and grow it faster or fully ripen it. now you can only click it once which rubbish if you need to unwither and then pick a ripe neighbour crop.
I wish frontierville would make it a bit easier to get the welcome mat, the yellow flower, apple pie, ribeye, spanish coin and any others.

I agree with Helen, it is way to hard to get a welcome mat, at least with the other things you may find a neighbor who can gift you but the welcome mat is so rare and there is only 2 ways to get it (I think).
Imagine having to wait every day to see if the cabin spits out a welcome mat. You should be able to craft one, get one from a particular collection, buy one with horseshoes…some other option.

For the unready chickens you need to ask one of your friends to feed them and then let you tend. JUst try to schedule a time for both of you to be online to do it.
@April-I’m not positive but I think all the Independence stuff is gone now.
@Helen I have 4 cabins and 6 welcome mats. I think it’s just random. I have a friend who has 12 cabins, no mats. How have you done on eggs? I have 3 coop and a total of 8 eggs, 6 of those are spotted. I haven’t seen an egg in over a month.

I am just wondering about the “Send Free Hammer, Get Coins” requests that show up on the Facebook Wall. I have helped several friends with this but started to notice that items I needed to complete the school were missing(same items I had sent to friends). Is this a glitch or do these items come from your own stock? I would imagine with the word “free” it would NOT come from our stock, but now I am wondering and not helping friends until I know how this is working?

I also got a welcome mat, and a thimble for the crafting collection. The post card collection is supposed to come exclusively from the new mystery gifts. I have NOT gotten any collectibles from crafting, and I’m at the end of the goals…I even crafted extras of everything (up to 20 of some) just to see, nothing. I would try to grow your trees to a 12 maturity, that’s what I did, and I clumped 4 oak and 4 pine together tightly…..then started in the front and got a bear for each one. The eggs only appear from BUILDING (whacking) the coop….what my neighbors and I did was start one (cost is little) and whack it the required number of times. Then we deleted it and started over. That way we got the benefit of the whacking of a coop and collectibles without having to beg for building supplies, and we could do this as many times as we needed. Hope this helps.

The QUICKEST way to make thorns grow is to clear the back corner of everything except for oak trees! it needs to be a fairly large area, about 10×10. Mine grew back in hours once I made it larger!

To grow thorns remove fencing from the edge of your plot, so it’s like an open square. I moved all of my animals out of it temporarily too. I had all 5 thorns grow back within a day. You can put your fencing etc back after the mission. Hope this helps x

Tracy, if you can’t find the ground hog try changing your curser to the moving objects curser and then pick up your crops in the red highlighted area. If you don’t have a red highlighted area then there is no hog- so try planting pumpkins, potatoes or corn as the hogs appear more frequently with these crops

I’m having the same problem with my missions. When I open it up, it just shows blank boxes so I cannot see them, therefore, cannot do them. I’ve cleared my browser, cache, etc etc but not helping one bit. Anyone else having this problem? Anybody know what to do to fix this??

@Alyssa, have no fear, there are tons of goals waiting. Just keep on plugging on. I hit a wall too where I didn’t want to play because it was boring, but then it picks up considerably. Also, just a piece of advice: DO NOT give away anything, goals will pop up later and you will wish you had saved the things they ask for!

Well, well I am not having the have no goals problems. Has any yet has anyone compared the level people are on when this happens , or what browser everyone is using.The Adobe flash player plug-in crash is a definite TAKE A TEMPER BREAK PROBLEM. I’m been having alot of problems with games on Facebook. I’m unable to visit neighbors and when it lets me it is slow.. it took about 4 min. to get to one neighbor and then I have to hit the esc button for it to download..[after it froze] I really like playing Frontierville, but I haven’t received any goals after I reached 1000000.00 goal and harvested the peanuts. I am having a issue with the getting ready for the baby quest. I have visited 24/25 neighbors. However when I get the last visitor in it says I completed the quest. I see the kid, I customize him then about 30 seconds later I get we lost internet connection trying a refresh. Then when it refreshes I am back at 24/25 neighbors again and have the quesst and no kid all over again. This has been going on for days. I even went to my girlfriends house and again same thing. Where do I put in for help on this?

if you have a load of chickens and chicken coops so you feed them 10 times a day your gonna level up quicker than someone with 10 chickens and 1 coop. If you buy loads of decorations you get xp, of course you can sell them again
Also if you BUY horseshoes you can get other things from the market which may have xp value too

You guys do realize that FrontierVille is still BETA.The game is going to have problems, and I’m pretty postive Zynga is working on all of these problems, but you have to realize these people have a life too and aren’t going to sit around trying to fix all of them at once. Just be patient. Move on to a different Mission while you wait. I’ve had problems too and they usually get fixed with a week or two.

3 babies seems to be the limit, everytime when the baby icon appears i click but nothing happens, very frustrating..hope zynca get it fixed soon…
Still not fixed is the mission with the badges, I lost a lot of badges Allthough zynga says that the problem is fixex well not on my game..

Type the name you want for spouse/child on notepad or something. When in customize mode for spouse/child, highlight where the name will go, cut. Highlight from notepad, copy and paste!

If the mission is finished, check your inventory for a baby crib. When you’ve found and placed it on your frontier, click on the crib and it should come up with “rock” or something similar and your child will then show up ready for work.
You can’t make it go back to being a baby and a crib so click when your ready. And gather the family around to see the “birth” that’s always fun (:

You have taken away all the Mission Goals, I cannot achieve them prior to 1/31 if you do not return them! For those who can’t grow thorns, you’re trying in the wrong place. Clear an area on the left side and above the midline that runs from the left corner to the right corner. You’ll get thorns.

How to get rid of thanksgiving table, go to sell on your tab that you move and rotate things, go to sell and click on it, same with selling animals.
for growing thorns have about 10 to 20 spaces cleared and eventually you will get thorns.
Check in your inventory for your church.
For your gingerbread house go to sell or you can just eat it.

On the pony express mission part 5 how on earth do you get Insane on the bonus bar? I’ve been trying for days and can’t figure it out. I’m wondering If this game is even worth playing. These missions keep getting harder and harder.

To get the Insane level on the bonus bar, the best chance is to use the chicken coop to feed your chickens (I have about 200 chickens), then move your homestead with the scroll on your mouse so the bonus items land outside the ‘homestead’ on the surrounding border. You can then click away (quickly) and get to Insane.

For 2 days now, I get the boxes of finished quests that are done, its the rewards boxes. then immediately I get the “blasted internet just went” box and I can not play it keeps doing it over and over. I would really like to play. How do I get this fixed? Can anyone help
