FishVille Sick Fish Medicine. There’s a new feature on fishville so instead of dying, fish will become sick and you can get medicine from your friends.

I’m using the mini dart goby as example.
The mini dart goby has a growth time of 5 minutes. it will grow in exactly 5 minutes and stop growing if you do not feed it, unlike previously where there was a grace period and the fish will continue to grow into the grace period.
When growth stops and it will then flash the hunger icon and regardless of what fish you are keeping, you will now have exactly 24 hours to feed the fish before it gets sick.
If within the 24 hour period from the time the hunger icon appears you do not feed the fish, it will become sick and flash this icon.
At this time the fish no longer has any value (1XP for selling it) and needs to be cured with medicine.
Medicine can be bought with sand dollars and are also sometimes given free in the daily bonus raffle. A sick fish may need several medicine doses so in this picture, 23 does not mean there will be enough to cure 23 sick fish!
So you see, when previously one can keep blue spot groupers and leave them growing for a maximum of 4 days while away on holiday etc, now they will stop growing in exactly 2 days and must be fed within 24 hours or they will go sick.
You can no longer keep say, shy hamlets and hope they will grow past the 4 hour period into the grace period. you must feed them much more often now than before.
