What Land Expansions are currently available in FarmVille?
The Land Expansions that are currently available are as follows:
Homestead – 14 x 14: Available.
Family Farm – 16 x 16: Available.
Big Family Farm – 18 x 18: Available.
Plantation – 20 x 20: Available.
Big Ole Plantation – 22 x 22: Available.
Mighty Plantation – 24 x 24: Currently Unavailable.
What are the requirements for Land Expansion ?
The Land Expansions requirements are as follows:
14 x 14: 8 Neighbors, 10,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash.
16 x 16: 10 Neighbors, 25,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash
18 x 18: 13 Neighbors and 50,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash
20 x 20: 16 Neighbors and 75,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash
22 x 22: 20 Neighbors and 250,000 coins OR 30 Farm Cash
24 x 24: Currently Unavailable.
When will there be more Land Expansion?
Currently, there is no ETA as to when future Land Expansions will be unlocked as our developers are still fine tuning future releases. FarmVille developers have been wonderful about releasing content and expansions in a timely manner thus far. Hopefully we will see more Land Expansion in the near future. Until then, we will have to be patient.
Can I just skip the first expansions and purchase later upgrades? Or do I have to buy the expansions in order?
Unfortunately, you must purchase the Land Expansions in order. That means if you wish to upgrade to 16 x 16, you must have already purchased the 14 x 14 expansion.
But I want to expand my farm now Why aren’t all of the expansions released at once?
I know everyone is eager to get more Land Expansion as quick as possible, but you need to remember that content releases are scheduled like this for a reason. If our developers were to release all of the content available for FarmVille all at once, or in the incorrect order, we would have fun for a few weeks/months, but then our users would soon be looking for more new content.
As such, developers release content in a specific order due to reasons the community cannot always be privy to. While it may make sense to you guys how things should be released, that does not always mean it is feasible, or in line with the developers vision for FarmVille. Just because we release new buildings/decorations, does not mean our developers have stopped working on other features of the game. Keep in mind, developing certain aspects of a game can take considerably longer than others.
In order to keep FarmVille from getting stale, and to ensure that our content releases are all polished and fully operational, they will take time and may be released in an order that might not make sense to our users.

I have all the requirements to expand to a Big Family farm but it’s not allowing me to do so. It keeps saying I need to purchase ‘null’ first or homestead?

please the item that can be bought with cash make it possible that we can buy it with coins also. and just impatient when the 24×24 expansion will be release. and its a greatest online game i ever played.

some people are having this expansion 24 by 24 unlocked my son is one of them and he can accept all the gifts instantly in 1 sec but i have to go to gift reqs page and it takes a lot of time why is it different when i m going to have this feature every member should have the same feature but there are so much problems in farm ville

Yes currently Farmville is 100% broken after the Market upgrade. It is not possible to expand farms at this point due to the “null purchase” defect.
As is normal with new content, existing features are commonly broken for weeks/months until the development team deigns to restore them.

I just purchased farm dollars to expand my farm 24×24. Got a pop up box “must purchase a null first”. What a rip off they got my money and now I’m stuck with no land upgrade.

Same issue here. Farmville has a thing posted saying they are having technical dificalties. That might be the reason why.

I have recieved the same message about the NULL! I never spend money online and the first time I do this is what happens. I’m very upset, I have spent the money and I have gained no product. The people who have purchased during this time frame should receive some type of credit such as a 26×26 upgrade or extra FV cash. Just my opinion!

well all i have to say is….if they would have left the market like it was then we wouldnt have these probs….as well as facebook needs to realize that if they r going to change something they need to know it is going to work…the people that pay for the coins and things r out of money…if it wasent for them buying things then facebook wouldnt be here thats as far as i am going on that subject…..but in realiaty if things dont get better here i think i am going to have to find another place to go…sorry for my oppion but it is always frezzeing and things like that as well…i hope this gets better cuz i dont want to have to find another place to go but i will if things dont get better

I have the same problem. “You must purchase the null first.” To me, it makes more sense to please the users of your game, making the upgrade of their farm size available, more than any other feature or add-on. It has plenty of content, almost in excess.
Free up the land upgrades and keep your users. Don’t and we’ll find a better game.

“NULL” is a programming/database term for an empty value. It’s a programming bug, introduced by the Market update most likely. We just have to wait for them to fix it. It sucks, but it is what it is.

i am so sick of waiting for a email from farmville…i sent out 3 and no response on the null issue…people tell me its a qlich but they need to fix it cause i am about tired of this waiting game…i bought farm cash and still cant get the land expanded!

I also for the first time bought FV cash and all of a sudden now I have no land upgrades numerous e-mails and they say I can buy 22 by 22 but still not showing any upgrades what’s going on not getting any help from Zynga support team not happy
